brief update to ensure my vitals:

it's getting cold. i LOVE fall and leave piles. yesterday is was warm enough for 2 of the guys on crew to jump in the water. this 4 am it was in the high 20s and we rowed dispite the ice covered docks.

i register sunday which is way early for a freshman b/c i came in with 25 credits.  i'm (  ) that much closer to finding out what i want to major in...not alot as u can tell.

i miss EVERYONE. i can't WAIT until xmas when i get to go home and c ppl! gabby sent me a pic from a beach house party of joje and i. it made me smile. but then she said that she would be getting together with ppl over thanksgiving and i'm jealous.  i miss emily and hilary and benjamin.

my dad comes next tuesday

wow. too much time has gone by to catch up on what has been happening, but let me assure you its AMAZING! i decided to get on today and check to see how ppl r doing in their own worlds...

as for me, i've been keeping busy. started crew last wk and its been tiring (we meet at 430 mon-sat). its really awesome though b/c you walk across campus in the dark and noones around and its quite peaceful.  then you get out on the water with all these awesome ppl on the anacosta (which is really gross-couple yrs ago they rowed over a body!) and watch the sun rise over the city! i can already c the comradery in the group. we all sit together @ breakfast in TDR after we wait for it to open (800 and we get back around 730). its totally cool!

sat was this big-ass party @ these kids house on the crew team. i felt so proud b/c i've partyed there before and the guys are all my good friends so ppl were like "wheres the bathroom"...and i'm so like "oh i got this..." lol but afterward i walked back to campus with these amazing guys i j/ met on crew and i got to skateboard (likeold time) and we climbed trees and ran through the sprinklers in the quad! this all being at 430 in the AM (ironically same time we WOULD be meeting!)

what else? one of my best friends thus far is a chick named madeline. she and i have so much fun w/ our name! all kinds of insiders there...

me erich colleen and maddie r going to philly for fall break for a peen state game and for the hell of it. it so awesome we can j/ up and do that!

went to visit stacey in wilmington w/ erin...took us 5 hrs (suppose to be 6 1/2!!) it was SO MUCH FUN!

i'm so in a emo mood right now. went running by myself ( not a good thing b/c i end up thinking...) and i started hinkning about home and how things WERE. it hasnt hit me that it wont be the same. and i have this huge fear that i'm missing out on certain things....such as emily and hilary's life. i mean i dont want to be the kind of siblings that arent close b/c so-and-so was off at college for 3 yrs. so when i got back i read emilys xanga (b/c she doesnt CALL ME) and i dont know any of her friends or whats been going on or anything. depressing. miss u girls!

anyway, there is SO much more, so if u wanna hear about it either call me or write something interesting

reality is starting to settle in. 11 days. tonight is jojo and nicole's going away party...they're leaving wed (we'll be 26 HOURS AWAY) . stacey's also leaving wed. then me next friday. whoa.

11 days until i go 20 hrs away from home. i'm SO excited right now! ppl keep asking if i'm nervous but i'm not [yet at least]. the only thing i'm not stoked about (besides being 4 hrs from the beach) is being in a northside dorm b/c all the ppl i have talked to and met r in southside. plus i'm still in a triple. one of my roommates is from russia which is totally cool. the other is from conneticutt and a farm life which is also pretty neat.

packing is a bitch and i havent started, but i have switched rooms w/ my sisters and its painful to see them in there DESTROYING my painted walls that i labored with sweat and blood to do...

went to "church of christ, scientist" today and it was...interesting? its down the street from my house. they read from the bible and from this "wholly" book that coincided it. everyone was in a wierd trance listening to this guy. he spoke slowly and monotonous. strange.

anyway, have to go read my assigned book which isnt that bad at all...madd

5 days of high school. 5 days of seeing some people for the last time. 5 days for goodbyes. 5 days until life changes forever.

soi have FINALLY decided where i'm going to college. it has been an exhausting experience, but it has FINALLY been made. After long hours of researching, traveling, sleepless nights, etc., the decision is FINALLY FINALized.

American University.

after making the FINAL decision, i found out that erin will be transfering to george mason univ. in DC also. so you know what that means?! we will be at college together.( well sort of, same city anyway) Stacey will also be a mere 6 hrs away in unc-wilmington, so i'm excited for that too.

you know when life seems to be going perfect, and yet you feel like something is going to happen to ruin it? thats where i am now. my parents and i are getting along. schools almost over. friends are cool. college is looking good. but still i feel like something bad is about to happen. i wish i could j/ enjoy this w/o the fear.

b/c of the coming events of summer, someone tell me something your excited about... college endeavors, travel plans, sleeping late, etc.

so here's the update on life:

finished applying for college, but will never be finished applying for scholarships.

3 acceptances- Univ of Alabama (~ROLL TIDE~) ;  FSU  ; and the newly admittance, as of yesterday, Univ of Miami!

which for the latter i recieved the George Edgar Merrick Scholarship for 1/3 tuition $$! i didnt even apply for that, so i am definitely excited

thats how all scholarships should go......THEY find YOU.

1 month, 3 days until I'm 18 ! 

2 months, 5 days until GRADUATION !
